Cupcakes are a delightful treat no matter your age.  They are one of my favorite indulgences, so when I found out there was a new cupcake shop in town, well, I just had to give it a try.  The owner, Jessa, is super sweet and has accomplished a lot in her life.  The most interesting thing I learned about her is that she worked for the military as a Chinese Interrogator.  It was difficult to keep the conversation about cupcakes after I learned that!  Going from an Interrogator to a baker seems like a natural transition, right?!  She made the switch to cupcakes when she moved to Logan with her family because she and her husband wanted to raise their daughter here.  I support her decision!  The greatest thing about A Food Affair’s cupcakes is that not only is the top layer (a.k.a. frosting) flavored with out-of-this-world deliciousness, so is the cake part!  Unusual?  Yes.  Amazing?  Definitely.  The flavors she baked for our Mustache Bash were: Key Lime Pie, Mexican Hot Chocolate, Fresh Strawberry and Pina Colada.  My favorite….Pina Colada.  I took a tray of them home for my family, and made it home with one left for each of them.  Phew!  That was close.
